I've lived, worked, or done both in Africa since 2001 in Kenya, Sierra Leone, Somalia & Somaliland, Sudan, South Sudan, The Gambia, and Uganda, among others. I prefer to spend my time with pastoralists in East Africa and the greater Karamoja Cluster region in particular. When in the city, it's most often Nairobi.
